WP Engine is widely regarded as one of the top hosting providers in the industry. It is built on top of the Amazon AWS platform, but what sets it apart is the award-winning customer service, solid server technology, optimization for WordPress websites, and all around great product experience.
They are different in the more expensive and compared to a lot of the hosting providers that we review on this site, but most of their customers view that higher price as well worth the extra cost, to eliminate any potential headaches in the future with server crashes, malware, or just general server maintenance.
If you have the money, and really want to get one of the best and most reliable hosting Services out there, WP Engine should be on the top of your radar. Although they do not have the best bang for your buck in terms of features, their technology is second to none, and you will never run into any problems well hosting with them.
They are also most often compared to Liquid Web, SiteGround and HostGator.
